Privacy

Your photo is measured on your device and is never uploaded.

Your photo

The photo you choose is opened and measured in your browser. The face model is downloaded once and runs on your device. FaceTiers does not upload the photo or the face points found in it, and does not store it on a server. The face points are computed on your device and never reach us. We do not use them, or the measurements, to identify anyone.

While your result is on screen the page keeps a copy of the photo in this tab's memory, so it can redraw your result and the two images you can save. The copy is dropped when you choose another photo, reload the page or close the tab. The result card is drawn in your browser. It shows your photo with the measurement lines unless you choose Hide my face, and it leaves this page only when you press Save or Share, to wherever you send it.

The face model is Google's MediaPipe. While it runs it sends Google performance metrics (which task ran, how long it took, your operating system); these never include your photo or the face points.

The paid plan

When you buy the plan, our server receives about ten numbers measured from your face (such as canthal tilt, jaw angle, facial thirds, face width-to-height ratio and symmetry) and your email address. They go to the services that write and deliver the plan (an AI text model, email delivery and storage); payment goes through Waffo. The numbers are deleted 180 days after payment, 48 hours after a checkout that is not paid, or at once if you ask: write to [email protected] to see or delete your data. The photo is never part of that.

Payments

Payments are taken by Waffo, which acts as the merchant of record. Your payment details go to Waffo and are never seen or stored by FaceTiers.

Visit statistics

The site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites.

Google Analytics 4 counts page views and a few events: starting a measurement, getting a result, being asked for another photo and why, saving or sharing an image, moving to another tool, and seeing the plan block. The events carry the page language and the page you came in on. They never carry your photo, face points, measurements, score or band, a file name or the size of a photo. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets its cookies (named _ga and _ga_4P46KC9GV9) only after you accept in the banner; “Cookie settings” in the footer reopens that choice.

Umami counts page views and four events by name only: starting a measurement, getting a result, saving or sharing an image, and seeing the plan block. It sets no cookies, and the address it records has no query string or fragment.
